Journal52 - Nature Inspired 
Weer even heerlijk zitten werken in mijn eigen wereldje. Los van alles en maar kijken wat het wordt. Dit is dan ook mijn op de natuur geïnspireerde wereld. Gespoten met Dylusions, gewerkt met wat acrylverf en verder tekenen en doodlen.

Journal52 - week 24 / COURAGE

Dit onderwerp vond ik niet makkelijk maar heb geprobeerd mijn tekst in praktijk te brengen en ben dicht bij mezelf gebleven.

Listen and trust your intuition

 De bloemen zijn van een servet die ik opgeplakt heb. De achtergrond met acrylverf verder geschilderd. De vogel getekend en daarna met acrylverf geschilderd. De tekst op de PC gemaakt maar helaas is het niet helemaal goed gegaan met plakken. Er hadden geen kreukeltjes in moeten zitten, dus een volgende keer denk ik lijm gebruiken ipv Multi Coat.
Was toch leuk om te maken.

Journal52 - week 23 / Passion

Mijn grote passie blijft toch creëren, creatief bezig zijn. Schilderen, tekenen, stempelen, snijden, knippen, plakken, embossen etc.
Daarom een schilderpalet getekend. Allerlei verschillende designpapiertjes gescheurd en geknipt (kwamen al die boekjes van de Action toch nog een keer van pas), en deze op het palet geplakt. Vier penselen getekend en gekleurd, de bovenkanten met zilver en gouden gelpen, uitgeknipt en in het palet gestoken (geplakt). De letters eveneens uit designpapier geknipt en opgeplakt. Met de pen wat tekst er bij geschreven.
Zo heb ik mijn passie proberen te verbeelden.

Alweer week 22 van Journal52 - Travalling.
Ik heb overweldigende heringeringen aan mijn reis naar Canada al weer jaren geleden.O.a. de Niagara watervallen, Toronto, the Thousand Islands en de stad Ottawa en niet te vergeten de schitterende meren hebben een prachtige en blijvende herinnering nagelaten.
Hier een kleine collage van deze reis.

Journal52 - week 21 / Making a Mandala

Maak een Mandala was de opdracht.
Deze Mandala is niet gemaakt volgens de regels, de figuurtjes niet gelijk en niet symetrisch, maar gewoon met veel plezier gemaakt (en daar gaat het ook om!). Is dan ook mijn uitvoering van een Mandela.
De achtergrond bespoten met de prachtige Cosmic Shimmer Mist. Ik ben zo weg van de schitterende glans die deze inkt geeft, maar wederom helaas niet goed te pakken op een foto. Je kunt het wel een klein beetje zien zeker bij vergroten van de foto.

Journal52 - week 20 / Book Inspiration

Book Inspiration. Ik houd erg veel van boeken lezen in verschillende genre's, maar zo nu en dan lezen in het HAPPINEZ Magazine vind ik inspirerend. In het laatste magazine las ik een artikel over de 18 Ity's. 18 stappen. Dit inspireerde me tot het maken van dit Journal.

 "A small step may be the beginning of a great Journey".

Ik heb Gel Medium, acrylverf, stukjes uit het Happinez Magazine en stencils gebruikt. En natuurlijk mijn wite en zwarte pen. Deze zijn voor mij een must. In het magazine staat bij elke stap beschreven wat dit precies inhoudt. Vaak moeilijk maar ook zo mooi.

Book Inspiration. I like reading a lot of books in different genres, but occasionally read the HAPPINEZ Magazine I find inspiring. In the last magazine I read an article about the 18 Ity's. 18 steps. This inspired me to make this Journal. 

  "A small step May be the beginning of a Great Journey." 

I have used Gel Medium, acrylic paint, pieces from the Happinez Magazine and stencils. And of course my wite and black pen. These are a must for me. The magazine describes each step exactly what this means. Often difficult but also so beautiful.

Journal52 - week 19 / Photography

Dit blijft me ontroeren, deze echte moederliefde voor haar kleintjes.
De vogeltjes heb ik van Pinterest afgehaald en uitgeprint. De foto opgeplakt en er omheen met acrylverf één geheel van gemaakt. De blaadjes zijn gestempeld en deels ingevuld met acrylverf. De boomstam links er bij getekend om het passend te maken. Gaaf he? Dit is het toch waar alles om draait: LIEFDE.

Week 18 - Creative Hands - Kreatieve Handen
Voor dit journal verschillende stencils van TCW gebruikt. De achtergrond bespoten met Dyslisions inkt en verder gewerkt met inkt, acrylverf en pen.
De handen gemaakt met stencil en verder bewerkt met acrylverf. Er twee ogen ingetekend. De bloem getekend en met acrylverf geschilderd. Tekst ook met pen.
Ik denk dat dit niet veel uitleg nodig heeft.
Een lotusbloem is één van mijn favoriete bloemen, met veel symboliek.
En dit kwam dan ook uit mijn kreatieve handen.

Week 18 - Creative Hands. 
For this journal several stencils TCW used. The background  sprayed Dyslisions ink and continued with ink, acrylic paint and pen. 
Hands made ​​with stencil and further processed with acrylic paint. Drawn two two eyes in it. The flower drawn and painted with acrylics. Text only with pen. 
I think this does not need much explanation. 
A lotus flower is one of my favorite flowers, with a lot of symbolism. 
And this came out of my creative hands.

Op rechterpagina hierboven de stencils schoongeveegd dit om geen inkt en verf te verspillen. Dit gaf dit leuke resultaat en wil ik toch even laten zien.

Journal52 - week 17 / Refresh

Zoals velen van jullie wel weten, hebben gezien etc. ben ik zeer gefascineerd door gezichten. Probeer ze regelmatig te tekenen en te schilderen maar dat vind ik nog best moeilijk. Maar oefening baart kunst, dus blijf ik het proberen. Door Kathy Arbour werd ik geïnspireerd tot het maken van dit journaal.

Met acrylverf en stencils de eerste lagen opgebouwd. Daar overheen laag dunne witte verf. Hierop weer gestencild met acrylverf. Een plek gezocht waar ik het gezicht wilde hebben en dun getekend met potlood. Eerst de ogen een plek gegeven, hierna met acrylverf alles ingeschilderd. Tot slot een donkerder kleur gestencild en een stukje over het gezicht geplaatst, zodat alles een mooi geheel werd. Dit was weer erg fijn om te maken. Mijn tekst zegt denk ik genoeg: Ik verfris mijn geest en ziel door mijn Kunst (zie foto onder).

With acrylic paint and stencils, the first layers built up. Over that thin layer of white paint. This again stencilled with acrylic paint. Sought a place where I wanted the face  and drawn thin with pencil. First the eyes a place given then with acrylics been portrayed everything. Finally, a darker color and a stencilled piece placed over the face, so everything was a beautiful whole. This was again very good to make. My text says enough I think:  I refresh my mind and spirit through my Art (photo below).

Vogeltjes op houten schijf / Birds on wooden slice

Van een vriend van ons heb ik een aantal schijven van een boomstam gekregen en deze vind ik erg gaaf. Hier wilde ik graag wat op schilderen. Met acrylverf deze vogeltjes er op geschilderd. Evenals de bladeren en de besjes. Inmiddels heb ik ook wat kleinere schijfjes gekregen dus ga ook hierop weer wat uitproberen. Dit geschilderde exemplaar heb ik als dank aan onze vriend kado gedaan. Hij is er heel erg blij mee.

Hier rechts de originele schijf. Gaaf he?

A friend of ours gave me a number of slices of a tree trunk and I find this very cool. Here I wanted to paint something. With acrylic paint these birds painted on. Like the leaves and berries. Meanwhile I have also gotten smaller slices so get on and well try again. This painted copy I have given  to our friend  as a gift like to thank. He's very happy with it.
